Properties:

Fatty Alkyl Dimethyl Amine Oxides is colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, easily soluble in water and polar organic solvents, slightly soluble in non-polar organic solvents. It shows non-ionic or cationic characteristics in aqueous solution. When the pH＞7, it is mainly in the form of non-ionic, and when the pH＜7, it is cationic.

Fatty Alkyl Dimethyl Amine Oxides is an excellent detergent and can produce stable and abundant foam. The product is non-irritating to the skin, has low physiological toxicity and good biodegradability, and has the functions of solubilization, emulsification, decontamination, foaming, mildness, softness, and moisturizing. Mainly used as tableware detergent and industrial liquid bleaching agent; conditioning agent for shampoo and other cosmetics, synthetic fiber antistatic agent, ethylene polymerization initiator; foam stabilizer in textile/leather/paper-making industry , wetting agent, detergent, dispersant, Electroplating bath additives, etc.

Precautions:

If Fe²⁺, V⁴⁺, Cu⁺ and other low valence heavy metal ions exist in the system, Fatty Alkyl Dimethyl Amine Oxides is easy to catalyze thermal decomposition. Therefore, carbon steel reactor and storage tank should be avoided for the preparation and storage of Fatty Alkyl Dimethyl Amine Oxides.
